My Dad Across the Miles...

My father just took his vacation this summer from his work in Saudi Arabia.  Working as a new generation of heroes as what they call the OFW's.  Its great he was able to spend father's day with us.  This seldom happens because most of the time he went home every August or September. A week before this special day for dads..we go malling and I noticed some ads and greetings related to the occasion...how I wish even its not father's day..I could spend precious moments from my Tatay...may he watch me as I grow as a teenager..be a part of my achievements..and protect me physically..maybe even share whose courting me and get his opinion.  Live and grow just like other Tatay's girl in our place.  But of course everything happen is always a blessing.  He's working abroad and make some sacrifices being away from his family to give us better future.  He is always thinking of us...he make us always his priority in life.
Maybe it's my turn to show my appreciation of what he is doing..of course I know he feels it with my hug and kisses every morning..exchanging jokes..(really there's no boring time with my dad)..with his witty humor.  Im pretty sure even small things or gift from me he could always appreciate.  I plan to give him a father's day card with personalized greetings, with a very touching message, thank you and sorry notes. Thanking him for  all the good things and advices he has given me and spend the occasion in Tagaytay.
Nothing more I could ask from my Tatay. The support he has given us is more than enough to thank him.  I always pray from our dear Lord to guide him especially when he's away from us.
TATAY..happy father's day..you know how much I love you and thankful in everything.  You're not just a hero in our country but the greatest hero of your favorite daughter...I miss you Tatay..always...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7RPCFfudmU

I N S I G H T S

This year..this level of my high school life really makes a difference..from 2  years of being in a Carbon section..I am now yielding the fruit of hardwork in my studies.  Really being in a Nitrogen Section was a very challenging episode of my student years.  Meeting new classmates (to think they all got good brains), new friends, and a new adviser.  And what are my expectations? What would come along the way as I go on this school year?

Of course I am expecting something on a higher level.  I should make another extra effort to be able to cope up with a faster learning environment.  To be able to maintain good grades.  Expectation does not only come from my family and friends but especially for myself.  Commitment, determination and proper prospective, I know I could reach a balance time for everything.

This year would also be a year of showing good leadership..of course they call us Juniors..we stand as next elder sister or brothers of the freshmen and sophomore..more matured and more responsible students of CSNHS.  So we should act and stand as models.

I only have two years left to show my extra talents and capabilities.  I should maximize my capacity to enjoy my student life not only academically but also in some other ways, from talents God has given me for His purpose.

My classroom, my new extended family..I have so much good reasons to look for.  And with the help of my Third Year adviser and teachers..I am looking forward for a better and more challenging years over as preparation to being a Senior.
