Because they are heroes.

If it's love or land that you have to choose, which one would be more significant for you? Like Aeneas and Hector, they chose to leave their families behind and fight for their country. Really it is hard choosing if it's your family or your land if you're a hero. But it is their destiny, because they are heroes.

If we would analyze everything whereas the left the families and hope that they will succeed in saving the country, there's nothing wrong. It's just that, it's their family that's left behind and family is much important than anything else. What will happen to their children? They would lack a father's cherish and love.

Of course, both family and country needs them but it is up to them on which thing they will pick. What matters most is that they should never forget their families which are truly important. They need to fight for their country and their families would understand that, because they are heroes.

You deserve what you deserve.

“Behind every trial and sorrow that He makes us shoulder, God has a reason.” ― Khaled HosseiniA Thousand Splendid Suns.  God is really good all the time. Imagine how great He is managing all the persons in the world and making life fair to all of us? Yes, He puts different trials on us on different times, but He will always have a reason for that every trial and He will never leave us alone suffer on that.

Just like on what happened to Aeneas on his epic poem.  There were different problems he encountered. He won and lost. But still, he never removes his faith and trust to himself. He remains believing that he can do it. He deserves what he deserves. He never gave up. He fights until the end. Therefore he reached ultimate victory. He got what he deserves, a win for all of his sacrifices.

Ultimate Victory was the theme of Aeneid since Aeneas faced a lot of trials but he still had victory at the end of the day. He had his terrible lost where his wife Creusa died. But still, he never gave up and fight for what's right. He had his ultimate victory and he deserves to have it.

Move on.

As Aeneas tells the story of the fall of Troy, somehow I feel sympathy in my heart. There was this mysterious feeling that touched my heart. As he tells the story, I realized something which seems to be somewhat like true to life.

Isn't it so sad that you see your hometown being destroyed? I know all of us loves the hometown where we grew up but seeing our hometown in disaster? I would really feel sympathy for that. Just like on what happened to Troy, the hometown of Aeneas where it got destroyed by the Greeks.

I'm astonished with Aeneas. Although his hometown got devastated, he showed a feeling that he would never give up. He showed everyone that he's willing to fight until the end. Truly, this epic hero is a hero. I could almost cry with the sympathy I felt for the fall of Troy, but there was Aeneas who showed me and gave me inspiration to move on with life. Just like our true life, sometimes we may feel so down but let us not forget that we're not the only person in the world. There's just too much to lose. Just be happy and everything will be fine. Enjoy and live life to the fullest.
